Ryan Grew up in the small town of New Braunfels, TX. Ryan had a love for hunting and fishing at an early age. As a teenager Ryan managed the family ranch in Barksdale. This is where he discovered his passion for exotic animals. One evening while Ryan was filling feeders he came upon a herd of Axis deer. He had never seen anything so beautiful and peaceful. That moment is what fueled his passion to pursue a career in the outdoors.
Ryan began fishing in Port O’Connor at an early age and still calls this his second home. He honed his skills while fishing with his grandfather, father, and uncle. They traveled together and fished together for many years.
Fourteen years ago Ryan decided that he was going to take a leap of faith and start Longer's Outdoors. Since then he has never looked back and his results speak fro themselves.
Ryan currently holds over 110 hunting world records, was named second best guide in the world by Trophy Game Records of the World. Ryan was also named the top offshore guide in Texas by Texas Saltwater Magazine.
